I have been totally neglecting my blog. I know and am not sure how often I'll update it.

But since I have heaps of stuff to share, I thought I'd pop them up.

I haven't had much scrappy time this year, since I've gone back to work part-time. But I went on a retreat recently which was wonderful and I got quite a few layouts done. So that was great!

This is a sketch challenge I am running over at AP ATM.

These last layouts are my most recent DT projects for AP using the gorgeous and bright Jan 2010 kit.

Anyway that's it for now, and hopefully if I get some more scrappy time, I'll be back with more soon.

Halloween fun and some stuff to share

This is the first year the boys have really been interested in halloween, so we took them out Trick or Treating(to family and friends) and they had a ball.

Bailey dressed up as Harry Potter and Declan as a pirate. Here's some pics.

We got heaps of lollies ready for sat night and we didn't have anyone come at all. So we have all these lollies left. I sent the boys with some to give out at school today.

The boys are studying mini beasts at school ATM so Bailey needed to make a mini beast for a homework task so we made these spider bags on the weekend. They are so cute.

We made some spider cupcakes and little chocolate ones too. So much fun and very yummy.

Well, I have been trying to finish off all my odd bits and pieces lately. So here are some pics of a mini album I did at the AP retreat in May. I have been looking for ribbons for it, but still haven't found any that sit right. So I thought I would just take photos as it is.

So The SCRAP YOUR PANTS OFF comp at AP is up to week 3 and I have announced my challenge. I'll share once I have finished my sample layout.

The gallery is looking awesome, full of fantastic layouts.

We are also having mini challenges. Mine is to create a TREAT bag for any occasion, the only TRICK is it has to have an animal on it. My sample is the speckled spider bag above.

This card is from the mini challenge week2. A card using inchies. I have rolled my inchies.

The boys and I made this pen holder for their dad for fathers day. Cute hey!

So I was pretty excited the other day I got my first magazine from my SM subscription in the mail. Then I was extra excited when I opened up to this page.

I am so happy with how it came up. I just LOVE it.

Anyway that's it for now, I should have a few layouts to share soon.

SCRAP YOUR PANTS OFF!!

Well the competition is underway now and the gallery is filling with gorgeous entires for week 1. Challenge 2 has gone up it is a pretty cool one, based on a comic strip. I can't wait to have a go at it.

Jodies challenge for week 1 was to include something old something new something borrowed something blue(there were a few extra catches too).

I had so much fun doing my layout, not the best photo but here it is.

My old is a photo corner, buttons word strips and scraps of Hambly.

New is Sassafras lass papers.

I borrowed from a layout by Kerry Snell and my blue was my monster, photo corner and buttons.

I did these next 4 layouts using a new ribbon pack coming to the shop soon at ArtyPants. I also used some dotted swiss bazzill(my favourite thing to use ATM), sassafras lass papers, buttons and American Craft alphas supplied by ArtyPants.

I still had some ribbon left over too. Look out for the packs in the shop soon.

This is a layout I did just for the fun of it. I love these photos of the boys from a recent dress up day at school.

Artypants cybercrop layouts

I have done a heap of scrapping this weekend. For the AP cybercrop and also finishing off some DT stuff. I can't share all of it yet.

These are my cybercrop layouts

Bec set a challenge to choose an ad and do a layout drawing inspiration from it. Here is my ad and layout. I love this ad. Might have to use it again I think.

Kerry A had a challenge to scraplift one of her gorgeous layouts and also use song lyrics. Here's what I came up with.

Kerry S set a recipe challenge. You had to use 4 different pp's, a flower, a heart, a rub-on, ribbon and a photo with at least subjects in it. Here's my layout.

This last layout is my final layout using the artypants re-launched november kit. Had so much fun with this kit.

OCTOBER PUZZLESKETCHES

The October puzzlesketches pieces are up.

I was lucky enough to get a Fancy Pants pack from Scrap Therapy to play with this month. So cute!

I created a double this month, I had a heap of gorgeous photos from Decky's visit to the farm and lot's of cute product to play with.

This Saturday is World cardmaking day, so in honor of this we also created some cards this month. Here are the cards I created using the puzzle pieces and these Fancy Pants paper pad from Scrap Therapy.

ARTYPANTS CYBERCROP THIS WEEKEND

The artypants Scraptoberfest cybercrop kicks off tonight at 7.30.

Heaps of fun games and challenges. Why not pop over for a chat or a challenge. All challenges are due in by midnight Wednesday, so you have heaps of time to get them done.

Quick update.

I have a few layouts to update and a heap of photos to share.

At ARTYPANTS the paper of the month for September is the Little yellow bicycle Zac's life Bullseye Red. It is available in the shop now. Here is a layout I have created using it.

The AP cybercrop was on the weekend. These are the layouts I did.

This is my sample layout for a Spring themed challenge with spring or sprung in the title or journalling and handmade spring embelies.

I did this layout for Kerry's challenge. It was an inspiration challenge using a gorgeous pic from Pumpkin Patch. My inspiration was the colours, flowers and polka dots in the pic. You also had to use something old from your stash, I used this BG pp.

I did this layout for Jodies quote challenge. You also had to use non scrappy products. I used dotty mesh and woodgrain contact.

Jodie had a sketch challenge too. I hope to finish it at a crop tomorrow. Half way through I decided to try it as a double.
Oh well that's it for scrapping ATM. I am in the middle of a few things, so I'll share them next time.

Got a few photos to share from the last few months

Firstly Declan's 6th birthday. We took a friend to Taco Bill for Dinner they had a ball.

Bailey's 8th birthday. He took a friend to the Pancake parlour for lunch it was great. Check out this cake. It's a chock pancake cake. It was SOO yum.

Some dress ups. For book week Decky wore Bais Mr bump which was easy for me. Bailey dressed up as Harry Poter.

And the boys have been studying olden days this term. We went on an excursion to Coal creek it was fantastic. Yesterday they had an olden days dress up and activity day, it was fun.

Bailey had his first real piece of homework this week. We had to make a mega machine. He made a Rocket Rod out of boxes and lids etc. Declan had to get in on the action too.

Well that was as bit longer than I expected.

Lots to update.

Hey there, well things have been pretty busy around here. Anyway here's an update before I move on to the here and now.

I have been working on the Artypants november 2008 kit. This kit has been re-launched as it was a pretty popular one. I have loved playing with this kit. I still have one layout I haven't finished yet, I'll load it later.

Anyway here are my layouts so far

I have always enjoyed doing the challenges over at Puzzlesketches so I am SO HAPPY to now be a part of the CT. Here is my first layout as part of the CT using the current pieces.

I was so surprised a few weekends ago when Declan asked me if he could do scrapbooking anyway of course I said yes. Here is his layout.

Heaps of layouts to share

Ok I have a heap to share. These first few projects are what I did at he Crop for Kids (pretty pathetic I know, but I hadn't scrapped for ages and I wasn't really sure where to start) I also did half a kaiser clock which I still haven't finished but most importantly I had alot of FUN!

Artypants DT call is over and the new DT members have been announced.

Congratulations and a huge welcome to Laura and Kerry and to the guest DT members Gayatri, Megan and Kerry Snell. I look froward to seeing more of their fantastic creations in the future.

This Layout is one I created as a sample lo for challenge 1 of the DT call it was using an add for inspiration.

I love the Rusty Pickle brassed knuckles papers. I have used them in the next lo and few others below. I loved playing with them.

This was a AP cc challenge to use bling and buttons.

This was a follow the leader run by Jodie for the AP cc.

These next 4 layouts are what I did at the AP retreat. I know that is not much but I am pretty happy with them. I also did a mini mirror album of my wedding photos, but it needs some finishing touches and some repair. Some of the emebelies fell off. I am guessing it is because I had had a bit to drink by this stage and stuck some of my pages upside down. DOH!

It was a great weekend though. Thanks Jodie and Judy for another great retreat.

This lo was for the scrap the DT challenge. I lifted a lo of Jodies which I just adore. Had alot of fun with this one.

The next 2 lo's are using the AP June add on kit. It and the main kit are both available online now. They are just gorgeous full of beautiful bright products.

I have used a piece of felt from the kit as the base of this layout.

These 2 layouts are my most recent layouts just for me I love the photos in both of these layouts I'll probably put them in my BOM. Same goes for the 2 above layouts.

Well that's it for now, I know that was alot but I think that is almost all my scrapping from this year. Now I'll just have to keep up to date.

A quick photo update.

Hey there, here's some pics of what we have been up to lately. I'll be back with a scrappy update soon.

We took a train into the city for the day a few weeks ago and had some Japanese for lunch and did a bit of shopping etc. We also took some ace pics of the kids. How disgusting are these jackets? (but I do love the pics).

We have been painting and redecorating our lounge room. My scrap room has been painted, I just need to finish reorganising it and it will be done. We also got a new fish tank. It is so AWESOME. I could watch it all day. It's so relaxing.

Our fish tank was a second hand set up so it came with fish. The boys were so excited that it had two clown fish(Nemo and Marlin).But we have added some extras now. We got a dory(blue tang) and a gorgeous blue star fish.

I have given in to my LOVE for Pandora and got a necklace. I just love it.

Yertle the Turtle is happy in his new home. He was originally in a tank when we got him from Kinder. He now has a pond, paved area and garden to wander around in. He loves the camera too. He sticks his head right in the lens. LOL.

We LOVE meringues. I have been experimenting with different shapes and sizes. These are our meringue monsters we made for easter.

The boys love these. K-nex. They got some for christmas and we play with them all the time.

Declan is a big school boy now and is going along well. I haven't posted any pics yet so here's some. Bailey was made the SRC member for his grade. He made this suggestion box for his class(with a bit of help). Declan made this cute elephant mask at school.

Anyway I'll be back soon with some layouts and some AP updates(lot's going on). I need to take some photos of my layouts. I left it too late today and they were dodgy.

Such a bad bad blogger!!!

Anyway I don't have any excuse for my absense. Except that I haven't really had much scrappin to share lately. Just not really getting anything done. Hopefully I'll get back into it now.

I am feeling inspired ATM. Started a follow the leader ran by Jodie at AP and am starting to get all sorts of ideas. So hopefully I put them on paper. Jodie is running a number of cool challenges from the cybercrop and even if you didn't make the crop you have until monday night to complete them to be in the running for a RAK. Why not have a look.

AP is also having a DT competition. you have until sunday night to register and the comp starts on monday. You can find the details at Artypants

or on the new AP blog

Jodie has updated the shopping cart with some cool Hambly and Basic Grey products aswell as the May kit. It is gorgeous a nice mix of natural tones and blue, Jodie has done some lovely sample Lo's too.

I loved using this kit. Isn't that Rose Moka paper gorgeous the kit also had heaps of Buzz and bloom chipboard gotta love that.

OMG!!!! I didn't realise it had been so long.

I don't quite know where to start. I might need to do this one in segments I think.

I'll start with christmas, It was wonderful. The boys had a fantastic time and got so many presents. I really need to do a clean out of the toy room.

The whole month of December was pretty busy with parties and school and kinder special days etc.

I hope you all had a wonderful christmas.

Anyway here are some of our favourite photos.

New Years was pretty quiet, we just went out for dinner early in the night with the kids. We went to an all you can eat, so they had a ball. So did the BIG boy of the family. Then we went back to my sisters and played guitar hero.

Bailey broke his elbow on the trampoline. He didn't fall off(it has a net) he just landed the wrong way. It's not a huge break but he has a back slab(half cast) on his arm. He is managing fine but it has been a bit of a bummer with the holidays. He should get it off next tuesday which is just in time for school, which he is very stressed about just incase he has to go to school with it on.

We have just been chillin' for the holidays. Rick has had time off so we have tried to get some stuff done around the house and jut relaxed at home with the kids. We took the kids into the city for lunch at China town which was alot of fun. Other than that we have just been having BBQ's at the park and going out for dinner etc but they seem to be enjoying being at home. We went to see the sand sculptures at Frankston beach, but we couldn't believe how busy it was so we did something else instead, we will still go before the holidays are over, they look fantastic

Both the boys are so excited about school starting. It is both scary and exciting for me. I thought it was bad when Bailey went but I think it's worse this time because Declan's the baby.

But on the other hand think of all the time I will have to myself.

As far as scrapping goes I haven't really done that much over the last few months. I have only been doing my STUCK LO's. I am hoping to get back into it over the next few weeks as school goes back and things settle down a bit. I'd like to start getting some albums together and doing some challenges too.

Unfortunately Artypants has closed it's shop front, but will be relaunching the internet store soon. I already miss being able to pop in and pick up my bits and bobs and off course have a chat. But look forward to catching up with everyone soon.

I have had a chance to do a massive clean out in my scrap room though and it is started to look really good and most things have a place now which makes it a bit easier to find things.

Oh well, I think I made it all in one post without going on too much.

I am so excited to say that I am now part of the Creative Team at STUCK.

I have really enjoyed using Sara's sketches during the mini comp. I am happy to be part of such a great team and love seeing what everyone comes up with each week. Also so cool to be on the team along with Jodie.

Not much going on ATM, just a quick share.

Artypants had a girls night in on friday to raise money for Breast Cancer. It was a great night packed full, lots of fun, raffles and I managed a bit of scrapping. Lot's of yummy cupcakes too.

I did a pink LO. It was a bit of a struggle to try and use so much pink, but in the end I actually enjoyed it. It was for a pink challenge that AP were running in conjunction with the girls night in.

Just a few things to share

I have been doing a bit of scrapping lately, but a few of my projects are not finished. So I'll have to share them next time.

I went to paperific with Jodie on friday and had a great day. I got lot's of nice stuff. I didn't find a few things I was hoping to get but still had fun.

Here are some pics of my recent DT project for AP a mini book all about Bailey now that he's 7.

These are some LO's I have done for a recent CT call at STUCK SKETCHES. We had to do LO's based on the current stuck sketch for 4 weeks running. I have just completed my third Lo but can't share it yet.

Bailey had another dress up day on friday, this time it was fairytales. He went as Captain Hook, no sewing this time though we just put bits that we already had together and

I got a hook and hat from the $2 shop. Declan got in on the action as usual wearing a Loch Ness monster hat my sister gave him(he was a crocodile).

Here's some pics. I can't wait to scrap them.

I didn't think I had done that much scrappin lately. But when I started to upload them I realised how much I have done.(Over the last few months).

I have been trying a few new thinks lately. I have been doing 8.5 x11 Lo's for some family albums and have done a heap of cards.

Such a unique idea for a challenge, I love it.

The next few are from challenges in August.

These were using products from a swap.

The next few Lo's and cards were a DT project for KTM using the Hello sunshine range from Cosmo Cricket. LOVE these papers.

OMG I have been so slack.

I have had so much going on the last few months, I have been so slack with my blog and scrapping in general.

Anyway I'll start with our holiday to Tasmania. We just got back and had a heap of fun. We flew into Hobart , stayed there for the first night then went to Devonport for the next two nights. We could see the Spirit of Tasmania arrive and leave each morning and night from our Accommodation it was gorgeous. We spent our last night on a farm which was meant to be 5 minutes from the Launceston airport but turned out to be 30 minutes away in the middle of nowhere. But the kids loved it.

We went to the Cadbury factory and some mazes and a few other attractions but it was just a nice break away. The boys loved flying, however Bailey wasn't too happy when he saw the safety demonstration and stressed out when they announced to turn off electronics. He ended up dropping his leapster cause he was so concerned that I hadn't turned off my camera and Declan's ipod. LOL.

Well I mentioned Declan's teddy bear's picnic birthday in my last post, Bailey has since turned 7. He had a bowling party and just loved it. It was alot of fun, Decky ended up being sick so it was a bit hectic. I ended up making him a krispy kreme cake. Yummo.

Bailey had his first book parade at school and wanted to dress up as Mr bump. That was fun. I bought a sewing machine and made him a costume. It turned out pretty good considering I can't sew, Bailey was happy anyway.

Anyway I think I have gone on enough for one post.

A birthday party and some Lo's to share.

Hey all,

Well I have just put my house back together after Declan had a teddy bears picnic for his 5th birthday. It was only little but they had so much fun. So I am ready for a quick dinner and an early night.

We took Declan to Build-a-bear during the week for his birthday it was fantastic. The boys had a ball. I'll pop back with some photos tomorrow.

This was my LO for ASM

This months clip was by Delta Goodrem, I found it a bit harder than usual. I have used the crown, lyrics from the song and the bling as my inspiration.

I love these photos of my niece at her deb. This is not a good photo, best I could get though.

I did this LO for a challenge at AP

It was a challenge set by Andrea using a pagemaps sketch. I loved this sketch.

This was a LO I did for the monthly sketch challenge at KTM

It was designed by Delys Cram. Cool sketch.

This was for another challenge at KTM, You had to use stamps and watercolour pencils. I found this quite difficult, it took me a few turns to get it right.

This is a LO I did using the sketch for July at Roadmaps aussie pubcalls.

LOVED this sketch too. It would seem that I love all sketches. LOL. Sketches and buttons seem to be the flavour of the month.

KTM had there CC last night, It was a fun night with a heap of great challenges, there are some great prizes up for grab and you have until the 10th of August to upload them to the gallery. Go take a look.

My challenge was an inspiration challenge. I have taken inspiration from a coke add I found on the net. Pretty cool, with heaps of great ideas. This is my sample LO.

Well I think that's about it for now, if I have forgotten anything I'll add it when I upload some party photos, I think I got some great ones Declan is such a poser.

Arty Pants July boys kit.

Just a quick one to post my DT work for Artypants. Artypants are celebrating their 1st birthday in their new store in Cranbourne next weekend. To celebrate there are 3 kits this month. Aswell as the main monthly kit there is a girls and boys kit. They all look fantastic. They will be up on the Artypants site soon, but Jodie has her LO's for the main kit on her blog(Pretty Cool) and they are available for purchase now. I have been playing with the boys kit and WOW, it's so much fun!

Artypants are also celebrating their birthday next weekend with a birthday bash at the friday crop and all weekend with a BIG SALE and demonstrations, face painting and freebies. Come on in for some fun and bargains.

Another year older!

Yeah I had my birthday on Sunday, I turned 35 and feel about 55 at the moment!LOL

We had a lovely day at home, DH was at work so we stayed home and watched the chipmunks and just chilled. We went out to Hogsbreath cafe for dinner. It was yum! The boys had such a great time and loved the food. The boys gave me a long arm stapler, which I had wanted for ages. So that was cool. It was from office works. Rick gave me some dvd's one was spicks and specks which I love! Anyway that's that for another year, next week is Dh's B'day and then soon Declan. I better get shopping!

I couldn't believe this, but I got an acceptance for Scrapbooking Memories, My LO me and my monsters! I was so excited, but I just couldn't register it, being so soon to my first one.LOL

Here is my Lo for the june Aussie scrap music blog. I loved the film clip this month, so much inspiration. Here is my Lo. I did a double because I had too many ideas for a single.

OOOH! I just got my kit from Embellished that I won at ASM in May. It looks fantastic, I can't wait to play with it!

Some Keep n the memories news. I was waiting for my first kit to come out, which it did today to share that I am now a permanent DT member at KTM. I am so happy and enjoying working with Toni and Nic!

OMG! OMG! OMG!

WOW what a few weeks it has been. I have got so much to share. A few really exciting things and a few LO's.

I got it! That email I have been hoping for! "We want to publish your LO". I got my first acceptance today from scrapbooking creations. It is my Bailey @ 6 LO. It was so cute, I got home and Rick was acting a bit weird. I was worried something was wrong until I saw the massive smile on his face. Then I noticed the computer had two little bunches of balloons on it. Then when I touched it my acceptance letter appeared! LOL

I got my dream car last week. Ever since I saw the new holden ute in the green I wanted a car in that colour. I really wanted a lancer and then one day I found it a lancer in the holden green. Here's some photos I took at Sky high in the dandenongs and the frankston beach.

My other exciting news was that I won the first challenge at Aussie Scrap Music. I have won some really cool prizes too. This was my LO of Rick I uploaded a few posts ago. I had a heap of fun doing this LO and am loving this months clip by Chasing Bailey.

Well I've got a few Lo's to share now.

Here is a LO I did on the AP retreat I missed it last time.

The KTM CC was fantastic. Alot of fun and games and some pretty cool challenges.

This was my sample LO for my handmade challenge. You had to use no store bought embelies or alphas. I had alot of fun with this and the entries were fantastic.

These are my cards for Michelle's challenge. You had to make 6 cards using 1 pp, cardstock and embossing.

This was my LO for Delys's one manufacturer challenge. I used all BG products.

This was for Kerryn's Nursery Rhyme Challenge. I had this one started ages ago, it gave me an excuse to finish it off.

This was for Nic's inspiration challenge The inspiration I took from her gorgeous LO were vintage, white rub ons, BG pp and two flowers. This was my first vintage LO and I found this pretty difficult, but I quite like the end result.

I think that's all for now, I've got some stuff I can't share yet and some other stuff I need to take photos of, so I'll leave them for next time.

WOW! What a weekend!!!

Well the Artypants retreat was last weekend and it was fantastic. A weekend full of fun, scrapping and lots and laughs.

Congratulations to Jodie and Judy on such a successful first AP retreat. Thankyou so much for an amazing weekend. I am already looking forward to next year!

It was at camp manyung. It was great. We had a whole table each so we all had plenty room to spread out. The rooms were great and the food was fantastic.

There were lots of great challenges to take part in and the musical scraps was so much fun. Had never done this before.

Judy decided to paint Bec's face, so then we all added our little touch. We also used the photos for a same photo challenge which was fun. The LO's all turned out so different.

So I didn't get that many LO's done, but am happy with the ones I did do. I'm going to take photos now so I'll add them later.

Back with some LO's I did on the weekend

This was a tricky one. Andrea's challenge had to have a photo of yourself, say the word beautiful, be monotone, tell the story of the photo and have 5 things you like about yourself. This is my LO happy.

This is a Lo I did for the scraplifting challenge. This is a lift of one of Jodies fantastic LO's.

I did the next 3 LO's using some of the stuff from the fantastic goody bags we got on arrival. Thanks Jody and Judy.

This is a LO I did for a sample LO for the retreat. Loving these papers.

I think that's all I finished, I have some finishing touches to add to a few more Lo's.

WOW! I've been so slack

Hey there,

Sorry I have been so slack, but I really haven't had anything to share.

It has been so hectic around here lately, so I think I did 1 Lo in 3 weeks. Things seem to be settling down so I hope to catch up and get a bit more done. I have a few half done LO's I need to complete and a few challenges I would like to do.

I am so excited that the AP retreat is on friday. I can't wait. I am looking forward to getting some good scrapping done, but I am also looking forward to getting away and just chilling. It should be a great weekend, heaps of fun and games. I am just starting to plan out some LO's. I am hoping to have a heap ready to go I should get at least a few done that way.

Mothers day was pretty quiet, we just hung around here, Rick had to go to work. It was a nice day though. How cool is this my boys bought me a pink x-box controller so I could play x-box with them. LOL. I got some new pj's too. Bailey had so much fun at the school mothers day stall, he was so excited. He got a hair brush and gel and some bath products. I was very spoilt.

I only have one Lo to share it is a LO I did using the inspiration from the new challenge blog aussie scrap music,

I found it on Aussie pub calls and really like the idea of it. They choose an Australian Artist and show a film clip and you need to use three inspirations from the film clip or the lyrics. Pretty cool idea hey!

This month was the John Butler Trios song good excuse. My inspiration was a line from the song(and the theme the real world), the swirls and trees and the cogs.

Hey there,

haven't done that much scrappin lately. I have been having a play with the cosmo cricket get happy papers. LOVE THEM.

I am starting to plan my wedding album. I thought I would give this a go at the artypants retreat in may. I am hoping to have alot of it planned out before I go. So I can just pump the LO's out. Well if I can stop talking long enough that is. I have found lots of bits in my stash that I would like to use, I need to pick up some bling, alphas and flowers etc.

I have been having far too much fun and done too much chatting at the ARTYPANTS crops lately. It took me two friday night crops to do just these next 3 LO's.

I did this one family fun for my scrap room. I love these colours together. (Jodee if your out there, yeah I just happened to have a wall to match this LO too LOL).

These two LO's were from Bailey's first day at school. I don't usually do doubles, but I had so many photos I liked I thought I'd give it a go. I just adore these papers. They are fantastic for boys. I love the lace cardstock too.

Haven't really got much to say today, just thought I'd share some LO's

Here are my Guest dT LO's and mini book For KTM for the month of April. I loved working with the DT kit, Great stuff for my cheeky boys.

These next two LO's are my sample LO's for the challenges I set at KTM for April. The first is a themed challenge I chose easter or anything chocolate related YUM! The next is for the criteria challenge, this needs to include transparency or screen print, a metal element and chipboard.

Quick catch up

Hey there,

YAY the school holidays are over. Our holidays were pretty boring, just hanging around at home mainly. We had hoped to do a few activities however the weather made it hard. We had no power for almost 2 days due the storms. The weather was terrible, with so much damage. We were lucky, I guess. The boys were driving us mad. "When can I use the computer, Why can't I watch the TV?" This went on and on and that was just Bailey. Declan asked"does this have power, does this have power, what about this?". The second night was so cold and they had just had enough but I bought a torch and a pack of glow sticks for each of them and they made pictures with the glow sticks on the lounge room floor and played tiggy on the ceiling with the torches. Hey whatever works. LOL

I have a few LO's I wanted to share. The first is one I did as a sample LO for a new challenge blog. Word pictures. Run by Tracey and Jodi from Enchanted scrapbooking . You scrap a page using a set of instructions pretty cool. I also used one of my kits from Enchanted scrapbooking to do this LO. I love this kit.

The first two are from Michelles card challenge.

This LO was for a challenge to scrap with something from the kitchen set by Delys. So much fun. I used some tin foil on the LO and on the grungeboard crown, which up close looks great because you can see the texture of the grungeboard coming through. I used a bottle brush to paint the background and used a container from frozen food to stamp on the foil and then made the embelies from it.

The last one was from Nic's interpretive challenge. I loved seeing everyones take on this.

Oh well that's it for now. I was hoping to keep up weekly posts and for this week I have so I'm happy. OOPS wasn't such a quick catch up after all.

Been such a long time since I updated

Hi and sorry to anyone who may be out there. It has been so long since I updated. I will have so much to share I have done a lot of scrapping.

Well so much has been going on since I last posted. Bailey had swimming for 2 weeks and had a sports day and easter day at school. So that has all been fun. He is really enjoying it. Getting really tired at night though.

The holidays have been pretty boring we have just been at home, playing and watching tv etc. Bailey said today that he really wants to go to school now. I think he is missing the structure and being busy all the time.

Easter was so much fun, we just stayed at home. The boys had a great time going egg hunting and eating too much chocolate.

Artypants has had it's first two cybercrops. They were alot of fun and I got some great LO's done. I didn't manage to get them all done for the march cc but they were great challenges. There is some fantastic LO's in the gallery you should pop over and have a look.

Keep N the Memories has just had it's first cybercrop on the weekend, with lot's of fun challenges and great prizes, you have the week to enter the challenges so go have a look.

I went to CROP FOR KIDS, I had a great day it was so much fun. Heaps of cool stuff to buy and lot's of bargains. The raffles, mystery envelopes and trash and treasure were so much fun. It was just great.

I have just had my April DT work go up on the gallery at Enchanted Scrapbooking. They have two gorgeous kits this Month. I love the message in the bottle kit. See the link on my sidebar.

April is my Guest DT month at KTM so my work has just gone up today. It was so exciting. I had some great products to play with, really cool boys stuff.

Here is some of my Feb DT stuff for artypants( I don't have all the images this is just a few). I made this mini book using the Heidi swapp secret keeper cards(I loved making this).

These are some things I created for the Artypants cybercrops hosted by Laura. The first was a sketch the second was from a follow the leader(so much fun) the next LO and card are both from sketches.

Well I do have more new LO's but I'll leave them till next time.

This is a LO I did for myself it was just a moment I wanted to capture. I love the grungeboard skulls, I had so much fun playing with them.

I can now share my news that I am on the design team of ARTYPANTS. I am just so happy to be working with everyone at ARTYPANTS. They have been so friendly and helpful and I have learnt so much since I started going to the crops.

I have just completed my LO's for the february kit. It is fantastic. I loved the colours and I got 5 LO's and a few cards from one pack.

Wow! what a week.

This has been such a big week with Bailey starting school and Declan starting kinder. They have both been so excited. Well it all went well, Bailey is just loving school. I am so glad he is coping so well but it was really scary leaving him for the first time.

I have been pretty busy scrappin. I am loving doing my DT kits and experimenting with new products such as grungeboard . I have got a few LO's to share, but will share the rest when I can.

I have been enjoying going to my local crops again, but I need to do a bit more working and maybe a bit less talking. But that wouldn't be as much fun would it.

I'll also share some photos form the beach last week. The boys had a ball swimming and we saw the fairytale sand sculptures. They were great the boys love them. I'll post the photos later I can't get them to work ATM.

This first LO was for a challenge at KTM. I love this photo. The second is a LO done using a sketch by Rebekkah Mitchell for Artypants. The third is a LO using a sketch by Delys Cram for KTM and the last is a LO of one of my chrissy photos.

I sent one of my LO's to BASIC GREY yesterday and I just found out they have put it on their gallery. I love BG products and I love looking at the gallery. There was also a LO by Delys one of the other guest DT's at KTM so that was pretty cool.

I have a new camera

DH went out shopping last week and came home with a pentax DSLR. It's fantastic, I love it. I don't know anything about SLR's so I'll have to experiment and start reading. But theres no rush.

Not a great deal has been going on for me. We took the boys to see the chipmunks on the weekend which we just loved and I can't stop singing the songs.

Bailey is so excited about going to school we just did uniform shopping he was so funny. He is very concerned that we are going to forget to buy something, he keeps reminding me what about shoes or lunch box etc.

As far as scrapping goes I am off to a slow start for the year, but have picked up a bit this week. I think it was the weather holding me back, it was just too hot. Arty Pants had their first crop for the year so that was great to catch with everyone and get a few pages done.

My second DT LO for ENCHANTED SCRAPBOOKING has been uploaded now. I had the mushroom magic pack to play with it was so bright and funky I loved it. There is also a handsome prince pack it's gorgeous too.

My First LO

I have done my first LO for the year, which is also my first DT LO. It is a christmas LO using a cool christmas pack from Enchanted Scrapbooking. It was so exciting getting my my package in the mail. I loved it, but did find it a bit scary. I will add a link to it once it has been posted.

I am nearly finished my second LO, it's a fun one. I'm loving the bright colours. It is using the gorgeous magic mushroom pack.

Then I will have a go at some challenges, My to do list for January is getting pretty long already.

I have started a life journal, I am doing it with a group of girls at KTM. It is just a simple note each day to document the little(important) things that go on everyday that you would normally forget about. So far I have just used gel pens, stickers and stamps pretty simple. At least this way you actually get it done. I have really cheated with my cover. It is very plain compared to the other girls but I found my Heidi Swapp stamps and the words just suited the purpose of the journal. I'll be back once I've taken some photos.

We had a fantastic christmas, lot's of fun, too much yummy food and lot's of pressies.

The boys had a ball. Santa brought a bike for Declan and a basketball ring for Bailey, they were very impressed. Here are some photos.

Well that's chrissy gone and another year over. Now I am looking forward to what's to come in the New Year. We have Declan going to 4 year old kinder and Bailey going to school so it is all so exciting. I can't wait to see what wonderful adventures they get up to this year. I just need to work out how to entertain them over the holidays first.(any suggestions welcomed).

Well, here I am finally blogging. I have become addicted to blog hopping, so I thought I should also share my thoughts, work etc. ( If anyone visits me here that is).

I am a SAHM to two. DS Bailey- 6 years and DS Declan-4 years. I have been married to my best mate Rick for 7 years and live in Melbourne.

I have been interested in Scrappin for a few years now, I started collecting products after attending a creative memories party, but never really got time to do it. Earlier this year I found I had a bit more time on my hands. I guess my boys are at an easier age now. I eventually took the step and went to my local crop a few months ago I really enjoyed it, met some lovely ladies (Who have been so kind and helpful thanks Bec and Jodie) and have been hooked ever since.
